References on experimental realization of quantum one-dimensional infinite-well model

Can someone point me to the examples, or references, of experimental realization of the quantum one-dimensional infinite-well model?

[EDIT] The motivation of this question is the curiosity - though I am not a novice on topics of the quantum theory (QT). To the best of my knowledge, I have not seen anywhere the experimental realization of this widely discussed model. The classical correspondence is the simple box with two elastic walls at the ends. However I would not think that the experimental realization of this system, at quantum level, should be trivial, since any experiments on a single quantum particle would be very useful for studying the foundation of the QT. So I am simply curious to know, whether some people have ever already studied this model experimentally, or not. Hope this would help explain my question.
